This post could be any sort of list, of any number, that would give the reader something to smile about for the day, something that gives hope for future success. It could be filled with local events, fun facts about the date, things in the near future, and so on.

For instance, if i was to write one about today i would say:

Today’s date: April 4th.

  1. The Boston Red Sox will be presented with their World Series rings this afternoon at America’s Most Beloved Ballpark, Fenway Park. For a team that went from worst to first in the span of one year, all while representing a city that had just gone through the Boston Marathon bombings. So today the players and staff will be receiving their championship rings, but with those rings comes great pride for the city of Boston.
  2. On this date in 1975 Bill Gates and Paul Allen founded Microsoft in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Thirty-nine years ago today these two men were simply dreamers, and today they are viewed as pioneers of a technologically driven generation. Maybe today is the day that you make a giant leap towards the success you have always dreamed of.
  3. Tommy John, a pitcher for the New York Yankees, tied the record for seasons played with 26 following the 1989 season. During the 1974 season John damaged the Ulnar Collateral Ligament in his left elbow, leading to the revolutionary surgery which replaced the damaged ligament with a tendon from his right forearm. Now known as Tommy John Surgery, the procedure has extended the careers of baseball players at all levels. John ignored the negative influences in his life who told him his career was over, which led to  a groundbreaking medical procedure and the continuation of a career and a dream.
  4. Last but not least, It’s Friday.
